Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Job Description
The Manufacturing General Manager is responsible for the manufacturing and production of automotive components that support the automotive industry. This role involves establishing and maintaining productive and effective relationships with management and department managers to foster a successful production environment centered on quality and safety best practices. The position also supervises Managers, Assistant Managers, and Group Leads as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall production of quality products that meet the company’s operational short- and long-term business goals.
Foster a positive work environment centered on compliance and continuous improvement.
Engage and motivate management and team members to adhere to company objectives regarding quality, safety, environment, and information security.
Evaluate and monitor operations' ability to meet production and regulatory standards and recommend corrective actions needed to meet company operation goals.
Oversee the manufacturing process of automotive transmissions and/or other automotive products to ensure 100% compliance with company quality standards.
Lead manufacturing projects and influence team members to adhere to company environmental, health, and safety standards such as cleanliness, ergonomics, standard operating procedures, required maintenance and inspections of equipment, temperature, noise, and overall safe working conditions.
Create a fair and productive work environment built on trust and respect for all team members and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Work closely with Human Resources by providing key information that helps create and maintain a work environment that attracts, motivates, and retains quality team members.
Create, manage, and monitor the operations' financial goals such as manufacturing budgets, equipment, inventory, assets, profit, delivery, cost, scrap, manpower, and additive value of products.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing management experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a company with over 100 employees
Ability to develop work standard manufacturing procedural documents
Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry, total quality management systems, and best practices
Leadership track record and a good understanding of Servant Leadership concepts
Effective oral and written communication skills
Capability to flexibly respond to changes in the company’s direction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Leadership track record and a good understanding of how to lead complex teams
Experience in a cross-cultural working environment
Experience in an automated assembly process, robotic, or machining process
Manufacturing leadership experience in the automotive industry

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift salary position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00
health insurance, benefits, 401k, PTO, Cost of living increases, and bonus structure for leadership roles.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Schertz,TX.
