Ultrassound (4D ICE) Development Manager (m/f/d) - Biosense Webster

Location: Germany

to join our Johnson&Johnson Medtech representing the EMEA regional as part of the regional office team.

Ultrasound Solutions @ Biosense Webster

The NUVISION Ultrasound Catheter with 4D intra-cardiac echocardiography is a valuable tool providing high resolution to guide mitral and tricuspid repair and replacement procedures as well as left appendage closure procedures.

As the Ultrassound Development Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing and promoting our brand new Ultrassound technology. This role offers an exciting and collaborative environment, working with top-tier professionals to drive the adoption and utilization of innovative medical technology.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in the regional launch and rollout of the Ultrassound portfolio.

  • Activate centers to start using the Ultrassound technology, ensuring its adoption and optimal usage since the launch.

  • Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across EMEA to align technology usage with the newest clinical strategies.

  • Ensure full understanding and deployment of the technology by local clinical teams to achieve rapid and strong therapy adoption.

  • Share best clinical practices and identify critical success factors.

  • Implement strategies to increase market penetration of the Ultrassound product lines, working closely with regional Marketing and Country Franchise managers in the EMEA region.

  • Assist in the execution of comprehensive regional marketing plans.

  • Support local Prof Ed managers in training efforts for customer and field personnel education.

  • Monitor sales data and propose marketing directions based on data analysis.

  • Attend key industry meetings.

  • Collaborate with EMEA Supply Chain to provide forecasts for Biosense Webster product lines.

  • Support technical, marketing, and financial evaluations of new business opportunities.Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.

  • Ensure subordinates follow all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, and that all necessary resources are available and in good condition.

  • Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your Expertise

Education

  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, life science, or business administration is required.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the mitral and/or tricuspid valve repair/replacement market (4D ICE experience is a plus)

  • Technical and clinical skills in mitral and/or tricuspid valve repair/replacement procedures, with the ability to convey information to different audiences.

  • Strong project management experience in managing expectations of internal and external partners.

  • Proven ability to anticipate and address the needs of customers through timely program/project implementation.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team toward shared goals.

  • Proven project management skills, including driving projects in an organized and timely manner.

  • Proactive and motivated to find opportunities and adapt swiftly to challenges.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the medical device industry and its trends.

Preferred:

  • Good interpersonal relations and significant leadership skills.

  • Experienced trainer with self-confidence and integrity.

  • Competence in understanding business dynamics and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Other:

  • Proficiency in English is required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both nationally and internationally.

  • Valid drivers license is required.
