The anticipated salary range for this role is between $48,000.00 and $95,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the staff of a innovative digital bank. The team is building a bank that is truly dedicated to helping customers live a richer life and the team is backed by one of the largest banks in the world.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced and exciting new culture where the majority of team-members are working remotely, but still operating as a close-knit team by leveraging the latest technology available for collaboration.

The Administrative Assistant will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, coordination, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This person must be highly organized with the ability to support multiple projects while accomplishing core responsibilities at scale.This role will be in the office located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Manage multiple calendars, including scheduling and prioritization of meetings, travel, and group projects.

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach.

  • Serves as a liaison across groups within the business.

  • Provides a high touch quality of service within the organization and with external clients.

  • Communicates on operations and processes, and when necessary, ensures implementation.

  • Drafts and revises memos, emails, agendas, action notes, letters, reports, presentations, and other correspondence to high-quality standards. Serves as the informational hub for team projects.

  • Basic research and problem-solving tasks

  • Ensures expenses and other administrative tasks are managed and approved promptly.

  • Collaborate with other administrative assistants in support on events, projects, and initiatives.

  • Takes and delivers accurate messages; responds to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience

  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services is preferred.
