About you and this role

Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aMaintenance Group Leaderlocated inSeadrift,TXorVictoria, TX This role supervises daily activities of administrative, technical and operational employees. The Maintenance Group Leader sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. They share responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel and achievement of the plant related business goals. As a leader, fosters a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement and empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Fosters EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.

  • A clear focus will exist on creating a Highly Reliable Organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.

  • Completes the requirements of the Performance Management Process for Maintenance direct reports which is leveraged to support meaningful opportunities for leader/employee engagement. This includes coaching and career development.

  • Performs appropriate MF roles as determined by plant and site.

  • Acts as a primary back-up to the Maintenance Leader.

  • Implements and provides on-going support of the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy at the facility.

  • Ensures all Maintenance Procedures will include a hazard assessment indicating safety, health and environmental considerations and control measures to prevent contact or exposure.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class rankingANDat least 4 years of maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience required.

  • ORin lieu of an advanced degree/MDE, a minimum of 7 years of maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience required.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Firm understanding of TES work process

  • This position is located in Seadrift, TX or Victoria, TX

  • This position does not offer relocation assistance
