Responsibilities You will provide logistics services and support to the Fleet and other customers through coordination with Commander, Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT), Commander Naval Southwest Region, and other customers. You will expedite all activities related to receipt, issue, storage, segregation and inventory/reconciliation of ordnance. You will receive, review, and monitor incoming requisitions and take appropriate action to ensure completion. You will use automated systems, interpret regulations, and verify availability and issue-ability of material. You will make substitutions or initiate referrals, and coordinate actions to meet required delivery dates and priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting inventory management functions to include the movement, storage, and tracking of ordnance or ammunition to ensure compliance with safety and physical security regulations for an organization. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Education may be used to substitute specialized experience with the following: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree; OR Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled; OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
