When working on AWS Infrastructure Accounting – Supply Chain, your ability to make a difference and take ownership of your career begins on day one. You will contribute to optimize AWS’s supply chain, capturing operational benefits in terms of continuity of supply and cost efficiency. One of main responsibilities for the role will be an accounting owner of ERP implementation and integration for supply chain process.
Key job responsibilities
• Accounting owner of ERP implementation and integration for supply chain process.
• Own accounting requirements for ERP implementation and integration.
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance, business, tax, trade and compliance, transfer pricing and IT partners throughout the ERP implementation and integration project.
• Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls and to design new processes and controls.
• Execute judgments to keep projects moving and ensure the right decisions are reached to close the books each month.
• Escalating risks and issues as necessary to leadership.
• Strong sense of ownership.
• Enhance partnerships between Accounting and various business and IT groups.
• Research, conclude and memorialize technical accounting position papers.
• Supporting various aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Experience in ERP implementation and integration, SAP preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
CPA
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
