Nordstrom Ad Operations Specialist, Digital Marketing (Hybrid - Seattle) in Seattle, Washington

This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days/week in office at our office location in downtown Seattle.

Who we are…

Our Digital Ad Operations team is looking for a talented individual who will support the business via ad campaign execution across our suite of paid media channels. At Nordstrom, providing great customer service goes beyond the selling floor. It takes a team of individuals with a variety of talents and skills to continuously improve service and our results. We work in partnership with other areas of the Company to support our frontline salespeople and customers. We are looking for a talented individual who will help execute a variety of online advertising initiatives in the ever-changing digital marketing world.

The ideal Ad Operations Specialist is motivated, results-oriented, organized and eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A day in the life…  

  • Traffic, QA and deliver digital ad media to our agency, display, video, social, affiliate, search and shopping channel partners.

  • Help develop and maintain display media testing plans via Dynamic Creative Optimization tools (Innervate) and share results to key stakeholders.

  • QA ads to ensure they meet site partner/platform specs and ad server (DSP) requirements – addressing technical issues as they arise.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with planned strategic marketing mix.

  • Support channel teams and agencies directly with clear communication and delivery workflows that ensure transparency into deliverable timelines and potential delays.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of online advertising, retail and competitive trends.

  • Act as a key resource on all aspects of our ad specs, creative templates, and ad tagging to ensure proper functionality and ability to report performance.

    You’ve got this if you have…

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field of study preferred.

  • 2-3 years Digital Ad Operations experience required as a media trafficker, technical account manager, ad operations specialist or similar role.

  • Experience working within a DCO ( Innervate ) and managing multi-variant testing strategies.

  • Previous experience working in ad tech such as an ad server ( DCM ) or DSP required .

  • Familiarity with ad tagging, UTM parameters, and digital analytics required .

  • Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships.

  • Strong MS Excel abilities, including the ability to use formulas, functions & pivot tables.

  • Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing and Dynamic Creative Optimization platforms preferred.

  • Familiarity with statistics and online advertising metrics.

  • Proficient in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

  • Positive and productive interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

  • Persistence and independence is key.

  • Strong professionalism and ownership.

  • Highly organized problem solver with an eagerness to continually learn and succeed.

  • Knowledge of retail industry and fashion retailing a plus.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $67,725 - $110,500 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
