UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager on our Progessive Care Unit. This position is open to current UWMC RNs only.

Night shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
6SE/Progressive Care is a 28-bed acute care med-surg unit that provides care for a diversity of medically complex patients as well as post-op orthopedics patients PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement unit policies and procedures
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
Monitor patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Coordinate patient care, including admissions, discharges, and transfers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Address patient and family concerns and provide excellent customer service
Provide direct patient care
Foster a positive work environment and promote staff development REQUIREMENTS
For current UWMC RNs only
At least 2 years of current/recent acute care med-surg nursing experience
Demonstrated leadership and/or charge nurse experience
