The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility. Special Mentions * Relocation provided * Travel expected up to 10% of the time Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop Electrical Power Analog Circuit Designs for our spaceflight system Utilize your expertise in inventing circuits to create detailed designs, build, analyze, test, and fly innovative and efficient hardware Collaborate with the Avionics Command and Data Handling (C&DH) and Electrical Power Systems (EPS) teams to ensure flawless integration of circuit hardware for Blue Ring missions Collaborate closely with diverse teams to identify and fulfill challenging program needs. Continuously strive for excellence in circuit design and actively contribute to a culture of safety and innovation Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields Minimum of 5+ years of analog and digital circuit design experience Strong experience with circuit design, analysis, testing, and simulation of mixed-signal circuit avionic designs Proficiency in analog electronics design, including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, high/low/band pass filters, clock/data terminations, and comparator circuits Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Experience in Altium Designer in both schematics and layout Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications Educational background in Electrical or Computer Engineering, including a Master's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience with radiation effects on electronics High-Speed or High-Voltage Design Experience Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, HSPICE, and HFSS (or similar modeling/analysis tools) Experience developing, testing, and operating Space Vehicle systems Shown experience with high-reliability safety-critical, Class 2/3 board assemblies; familiarity with IPC standards, DO-254, and similar standards Experience developing products from early trade studies through final design, manufacturing, and testing Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $128,430-$179,802 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
