$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center - Emergency Department has an outstanding job opportunity for a CNA / Patient Care Technician position.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 90% FTE (36 hours per week - patterned self-schedule)

  • Night Shift PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care

  • Transportation of patients, supplies, and specimens

  • Ordering and stocking of supplies

  • Maintain / set up of special equipment

  • Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication

  • This position provides opportunities to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment REQUIREMENTS

  • One year of ED Tech/CNA experience, and/or Hospital Inpatient Acute Care or ICU experience, and/or EMT experience

  • High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience

  • Must have a current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (Please include your Washington State NAC license on your resume.)
