Aerotek Cnc Programmer in Seattle, Washington

Aerotek is seeking a CNC programmer for a family owned aerospace company in S. Seattle.

Family owned business that has provided aerospace parts and assemblies to major aerospace manufacturers since 1943. We have many capabilities including milling, turning, heat treating, gun drilling, grinding, and an assembly department. We employ over 100 people with the common goal of manufacturing excellence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• programming multi axis mills

• Use standard metrology tools, engineering drawings, specifications and standards to inspect machined parts for conformity to design requirements.

• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

• Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.

• Determine conformity of aerospace products.

• Review manufacturing planning against customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• U.S. Person required due to export control laws.

• 2+ years CNC programmer experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient with basic trigonometry.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.

• Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

• Excellent attention to detail.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read work instructions and procedures in English.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Must have Mastercam programming experience.
