Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - ElectricalJob Description
Seeking a Commissioning Engineer with an electrical background and experience in data centers, hospitals, and other mission-critical facilities. This role involves carrying out project assignments, participating in daily commissioning activities, developing commissioning procedures, and writing comprehensive reports. The successful candidate will also review design documents, develop and administer functional tests for various systems, and assist with field troubleshooting.
Hard Skills
Experience in data centers, hospitals, and mission-critical facilities
Development of SOPs and MOPs
Preparation of commissioning test procedures and reports
Development and maintenance of commissioning logs and equipment checklists
Review of design criteria, specifications, drawings, and equipment submittals
Administration of functional tests for electrical distribution systems, switchboards, UPS, PDUs, STS, standby generators
Operation of Power Quality Analyzers, Power Disturbance Analyzers, Data loggers
Load Bank Testing
Soft Skills
Ability to write comprehensive reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations
Capability to verify results of test reports
Proficiency in integrated system testing
Field troubleshooting skills

This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
Travel requirement of 60-65% throughout the year, sometimes being on site for 2-3 weeks at a time.
