Your Career
The Director of Solution Architects (SA) for the Enterprise segment for Prisma Cloud leads the North America cloud security engineering technical sales team for the Enterprise customers.
This leader of leader role has a broad scope of responsibilities, to include coaching senior SA managers to achieve their full potential as well as delivering differentiated solution validation for the biggest and most strategic opportunities.
A key imperative for this role and this organization is delivering customer outcomes that translate into a fully operationalized Prisma Cloud architecture and deployment. Customers in this segment are brands that are recognized worldwide, making them targets of the most substantial cyber threats requiring world-class cloud security protection. A fully operationalized solution means world-class security for these customers.
This leader will use their expertise to guide and mentor field SA Managers (SAMs) to coach and develop a team of cloud security engineers who protect the critical infrastructure and revenue-generating workloads for those Fortune 500 accounts.
The field of cloud security engineering is characterized by many innovative startups, who are continuously disrupting this market segment given the large and growing addressable market for these solutions.
Leading and operating a team in such a dynamic and every-changing environment requires a visionary leader who thrives and gets energized by the tremendous upside of winning with the market-leading Code-to-Cloud CNAPP solution, Prisma Cloud.
To help customers navigate the growing threat landscape and the increasing complexity of security in the cloud, this leader needs to develop the SAMs to deliver CTO-level expertise and thought leadership.
This leader will drive high adoption of Prisma Cloud by orchestrating across key stakeholders to ensure customers consume the platform modules based on optimal architectures. Another key imperative is ensuring the SA org helps customers engineer and tune their Prisma Cloud solution based on recommendations and best practices.

This critical leadership role reports to the VP of WW Solution Architects for Prisma Cloud.
Your Impact
Influence the cloud security mindset of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, DevOps leaders, shape their long term architectural direction and scope roadmap for them to get to their target end-states
Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the cloud security landscape that a customer needs to plan for
Coach, mentor, and grow employees on your team, while keeping them engaged and successful in their careers
Grow the Enterprise SA organization - Recruit, mentor and inspire SAs and SAMs to do the best work of their careers
Steer the GTM strategy working closely with the global sales leadership
Help preserve our dynamic “start-up” energy as we scale
Understand the strengths and weaknesses of leading products in the market and position Prisma Cloud as a differentiated offering
Champion the voice of our users and customers and influence product direction and feature priorities
Nurture and be the role-model of a positive outlook, can-do attitude and growth mindset, while leading and keeping the SAs motivated in a fast paced environment
Your Experience
Previous experience as a leader of leaders in a cloud engineering or cloud security role
5+ years experience as a pre-sales manager
5+ years as a Senior System Engineer, Senior Solution Architect or in Consulting Engineering
Industry knowledge of security product market trends and the competitive landscape
Domain expertise in hyperscalers like AWS, Azure & GCP, cloud application architectures, cloud native security models, Git, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and other security technologies both from a technology and a business driver standpoint
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
Quota driven attitude focused on client's best solution by being a trusted advisor

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $273,600/yr to $376,200/yr.
