IMCU Charge RN - Permanent Position

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the IMCU nursing staff.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual patient needs and in accordance with department policies and procedures.

  • Ensure the delivery of safe and efficient care to patients in the IMCU.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and support to staff in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in intermediate care nursing.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in intermediate care nursing.
