This role helps shape the future of our physical store experience by overseeing reinvestment planning, consulting with cross-functional leaders to define capital strategies and developing scalable assessments and action plans. We are seeking a candidate who wants to be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced team working to enhance our existing portfolio of stores using data and strategic decision making.

As a manager, market planning existing stores, you will…

• Leadership in Ambiguity: Lead complex projects from idea to implementation by setting vision and engaging cross-functional and intra-organizational teams to achieve shared goals

• Planning and Execution: Structure ambiguous problems into logical components, develop and maintain a robust work plan, and create a problem-solving approach

• Data Synthesis and Insights: Understand role and needs of end-users or customers and synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data to uncover opportunities with minimal guidance

• Partner Development and Team Building: Collaborate and communicate effectively with all audiences, including cross-functional partners and senior leadership

We’d love to hear from people with:

• Use of statistical software for analysis of market research data and development of regression and other multivariate models (5 years)

• Managing and developing others (3 years)

• Project management (3 years)

• Statistical and marketing research in retail or related environment (3 years)

• National retail or restaurant experience (2 years)

• Use of demographic data in retail market, site analysis, or marketing research (2 years)

• Ability to perform statistical, mathematical and financial modeling

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and statistical applications

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
