The UW Medical Center-Montlake- Medical Specialties has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist Supervisor. WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time Days; 100% FTE

  • Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager

  • Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members

  • Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates

  • Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management

  • Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit

  • Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Patient Services Specialist and other assigned staff

  • Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field AND

  • Four years experience in a healthcare setting which includes lead responsibility OR
