In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of processes essential to the financial heartbeat of Amazon. As the Subject Matter Expert on revenue forecasting and reporting, you will play a critical part in driving the company's performance by delivering key insights to the C-suite. From leading daily, monthly, and quarterly revenue analysis to enhancing our forecasting capabilities, your work will directly impact Amazon's most important strategic and operational decisions.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the development of the corporate revenue forecast, ensuring up-to-date projections and performing deep-dive variance analysis by leveraging high judgement and partnerships across Corporate FP&A and business teams.
Partner with finance leaders across the organization to develop the narrative and serve as the chief story teller for Amazon’s corporate revenue forecast and company-wide revenue performance.
Play an integral role in the company’s revenue guidance process by communicating the quarterly revenue forecast and key insights to the CFO and senior leadership, helping to inform the guidance shared with the external community.
Build relationships across Amazon and drive broad collaboration with technical teams, data science, and business teams to enhance revenue forecasting capabilities within Corporate FP&A and the business teams directly.
Lead the innovation roadmap for our revenue reporting and forecasting capabilities to automate routine work and drive continuous improvement in accuracy and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Experience working cross-functionally with a wide breadth of stakeholders, users, engineers, and leaders to generate buy-in
Experience with process improvement and delivery of financial features
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Do you have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business related field of study?
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
•Experience working in a fast paced environment while juggling multiple competing priorities
•Experience communicating results to senior leadership
• Solutions oriented, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Proven track record of owning and driving results with an eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
