Amazon Principal Technical Program Manager, AWS Events Tech Team in Seattle, Washington
Description
The AWS Event Technology Team is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual to build and maintain the Event Technology service catalog and roadmap, managing highly complex, global programs to deliver results in a rapidly evolving technology domain. The successful candidate will manage multiple org related goals and program related metrics and will lead multi-discipline initiatives spanning websites, mobile, network, video, and onsite experiences. The ideal candidate will have successfully built and scaled multiple technology projects from scratch. The Principal TPM can identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies and architectures and define the future vision for Event Technology.
The Event Technology Team is a newly formed organization within AWS Marketing. This role will play a key role in building programs to bring greater levels of standardization, scale, and technical excellence across in-person and virtual event platforms. Leading various technical projects, managing/improving on our AppSec/Prodsec processes and working closing with 3P vendors, Engineering and Product to drive the delivery of Event Technology's roadmap.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
