Amazon Principal Technical Program Manager, Selling Partner Financial Technology in Seattle, Washington

Description

Selling Partners depend on us to provide accurate and transparent financial information to help them manage and grow their business. We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead technical programs for building financial solutions across Web, API, and mobile for selling partners. You will work with business, tech, and operations teams across the company to drive improvement and build products to achieve our vision towards unparalleled financial accuracy and transparency. The right person for this role requires hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will also be responsible for setting project management standards and expectations and delivering large, cross-functional projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
