Senior Sourcing Manager
Why We Have This Role
On the Qualtrics Procurement team, we aim to enable Qualtrics’ mission and vision by providing the right third-party solutions at the right time. We have embarked on an extensive transformation of our procurement operating model, focusing on implementing industry best practices and optimizing supplier spending.
As the Senior Sourcing Manager at Qualtrics, you will be working on establishing a resilient supply base, which will yield best value, including best-in-class TCO, SLAs, and other terms of partnership. This role supports Qualtrics' business globally and will require strong acumen, innovative (out of the box) approaches, and a resilient attitude. This role will require strong thought and people leadership, and the ability to manage one or more of the following categories:

Things You’ll Do
Act as a leader for the sourcing organization, driving sound, methodical, and ever-improving category space
Drive value for Qualtrics via its supply base, delivering savings, sound cash management, and value add partnerships
Lead strategic sourcing projects with business executives while running a full portfolio of sourcing relationships
Act as a consultant to business partners in the supplier sourcing process, communicating approach for supplier agreement negotiations and/or ongoing projects
Partner with internal organizations to: define moderate to complex product and/or service requirements; assist with identifying suppliers; run RFx process and evaluations; provide supplier evaluation framework; and make recommendations on supplier selection
Conduct analysis, coordinate key partner participation (Legal, Tax, Information Security, Finance, etc.), and execute supporting administrative processes
Facilitate efforts across multiple geographies in developing solutions to problems
Build, communicate, and execute on sourcing project work plan and timeline. Identify supporting efforts, dependencies, or barriers. Identify and track any sourcing issues, track and report progress
Draft and redline commercial components of master purchasing and service contracts, statements of work, and software as a service and licensing agreements
Assist with risk analysis to identify issues (financial, operational, and/or regulatory) and develop risk mitigation strategies. Communicate risks and alternative mitigation strategies to business owners and cross-functional partners
Support clients in the management of suppliers as it relates to communicating basic contract terms and expectations internally and to the supplier; provide support for contract changes, escalations, remediation, and termination planning
Perform category management and identify data and research resources in the industry. Track the competitive landscape and identify emerging supplier candidates
Handle administrative processes and activity reporting as needed to support projects.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
7+ years of experience in Category/Sourcing management (see above for the category list)
Proven ability to influence stakeholders
Proven ability to deliver hard savings, build strong provider relations, and drive change
Complex project management with categories, such as Cloud, Software, Telecommunications, or other (see above)
Bachelors’ degree required/ MBA, JD, or other advanced degree in Supply Chain preferred

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
