Special Mentions As aProduction Support Specialist II,you will be part of a hardworking team of technicians, engineers, program managers and specialist, supporting the system prototyping & rapid development of different programs within our Advance Manufacturing Division. In this role, you will be part of the Operations Support Team. Responsible for inventory control, logistics, expediting and other support functions to ensure our team have what we need to be successful with our current and future commitments. Relocation provided Travel expected up to 10% of the time Shifts available: A shift Mon-Thur 5am-3:30 Responsibilities: Requisitioning, receiving, storing, and issuing inventory, tooling, consumables and other assets to technicians and operators. Continuously monitor and respond to technician parts needs, including replacements for non-conforming parts, delivery of fasteners and shop stock, moving assemblies to inventory or to the next work center, and other similar duties as requested. Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages. Enter material transactions in ERP system. Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required. Prepare for, conduct, and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts. Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S). Must be able to work well with others, take direction and execute swiftly, be mindful of process improvement opportunities, and be able to problem solve. Identify, catalog, and report manufacturing delays, sources, and resolutions needed to Operations Supervisors and Managers Based upon job duties, may need to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA and ACGIH exposure guidelines), outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment. Operate various equipment in support of daily operations. This includes but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc. to ensure safe hardware handling operations. Assist in the implementation of a robust materials management process that reflects best practices, to include material purchasing, handling, storage, control, and distribution of MRO inventory. Monitor the flow/velocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production Control to ensure work completes on time to schedule.
