Amazon Program Security Facility Manager, US Amazon Dedicated Cloud Security (US ADC) - Program Security in Seattle, Washington

Amazon Web Services (AWS), US ADC Security is currently seeking an Program Security Manager to lead a team of geographically dispersed PSOs, FSOs, and CSSOs, who lead and maintain AWS' secure facilities. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a strong bias for action and a solid understanding of DoD and IC security policies (e.g. National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with deep customer focus (DoD and IC) that can scale our program to meet the demands of multiple customers. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong strategic planning skills, and the ability to deliver results - are a must!

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a team of geographically dispersed Security Officers across the United States at co-utilized secure facilities

  • Provide recommendations to security, stakeholder, and other organizational senior leaders

  • Interact with DoD and IC Customers routinely

  • Support business development, reviews and provide input to RFP's, and author security volumes as required

  • Hire and train new employees

  • Develop strategies to align with business operational and strategic objectives

  • Collaborate with internal security teams on security metrics as well as escalating possible issues to leadership that could impact operations

  • Supervise, lead, train, and set objectives for security team

  • Streamline SOPs, policies, and internal and external customer facing artifacts to be uniform across sites

  • Follow and enforce the AWS Security Standard Operating Procedures

  • Author and coordinate on security reviews with FSOs, PSOs, and CSSOs

  • Inspect and maintain facilities in accordance with ICD-705 standards (as manager)

  • Perform other support functions as directed by Security Management

  • Write escalation documents to further the business and unblock critical activities

  • This position requires travel to 2-3 secure facilities (by plane) across the US per month.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of Security Specialist security experience

  • 5+ years of experience with NISPOM, NISP and hands on experience with DSS/DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments

  • 5+ years of experience with personnel security, investigations, physical security, document control, information systems security, preparing and processing DD 254's, FOCI, and visitor control

  • Current DCSA FSO Certification

  • 3+ years of experience with hands on contractor experience with Facility Clearance Level (FCL)

  • 3+ years of experience contractor experience with Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) submission and maintenance

  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with government security databases such as DISS, JPAS, NISS and e-QIP

  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's) - to include ICD 704, 705 and 503

  • Understanding of export control requirements as related to the NISP as well as Insider Threat experience

  • NCMS involvement and certifications

  • Experience operating a Multiple Facility Organization (MFO)

  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICD’s

  • Participated in government security reviews

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
