CORE & MAIN LP Project Manager (Non-Technical) in Seattle, Washington

Preferably, YOU have: Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in project management, sales operations, or a related role. Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution Experience working directly with general contractors and/or municipalities Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with municipal bidding processes, including RFQ and RFP submissions, bid tabulations, and pricing strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in tracking bids, materials, and project deliverables. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to make cold calls to underperforming accounts, identifying new sales opportunities. Flexibility to occasionally travel and participate in sales calls to build customer relationships alongside OSRs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate coordination among OSRs, branch personnel, and external customers. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams at all levels, including District Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and senior leadership.
