Essential Functions Triaging, debugging, analyzing test failures, data sets, and authoring new test sets Experience analyzing test results, identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios Software integration testing, designing and automating new tests Working understanding of test types and their purpose (unit, integration, end-to-end) Requirements for the Role: 2+ years of professional work experience as a Software Development Engineer or Software Quality Engineer Test automation experience with Python, Java, YAML, JSON, Linux, Shell, GitHub, Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution with mobile devices, laptops Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English Ideal Requirements: Experience with XCTest, Swift, Java, or Objective C Familiar with OS platforms, debugging, and analytics concepts Previous experience working with AI or Virtual Assistants is a plus Experience building or modifying existing iOS Application Code Able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment Curious and proactive. Loves to learn and explore. Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future. Hourly Rate and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
