The PBPSC team builds and maintains regulatory expertise and uses it influence safe and compliant product selection and development. Our team implements controls to protect our customers and the earth throughout the life of the product through audits, investigations, and program reviews.

We're looking for a Regulatory Intelligence Product Safety & Compliance Manager to focus on safety, compliance policy and strategy while leading cross-functional business and development teams. The PSC Manager will develop compliance initiatives by developing high level processes and innovative scalable solutions, while maintaining high standards for worldwide compliance.

Hired candidate must be willing to travel as needed for meetings and team project work when needed

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement strategy for Management of Change process for implementation of new and changing regulations.

  • Identify, scope, communicate upcoming global regulatory requirements and provide early notice of potential changes to requirements

  • Build compliance policy frameworks for a variety across private brands product types and geographies

  • Manage and resolve competing perspectives of stakeholders to drive conformity

  • Provide guidance to business and legal teams on product safety and compliance complexities

About the team

The Private Brands Product Safety and Compliance team protects customers and Amazon brands through the development, and lifecycle management, of safe and compliant products.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

  • Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
