Lyft Senior Integrations Engineer, Corporate Systems in Seattle, Washington

The Senior Integrations Engineer will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing integration solutions using the Boomi, Mulesoft and other integration platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in integration technologies, a deep understanding of the integration ecosystem, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating with diverse teams to meet complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement advanced integration solutions using the Boomi, Mulesoft and similar integration platforms.

  • Lead the analysis of business requirements and translate them into robust technical integration specifications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather and refine requirements.

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable integration processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Optimize and enhance existing integration processes for better performance and reliability.

  • Document integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures comprehensively.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior integration engineers and team members.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and best practices in Boomi and integration technologies.

  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of integration roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Integrations Engineer with significant experience in Boomi.

  • Deep understanding of integration methodologies, patterns, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Boomi AtomSphere, Boomi Flow, and other Boomi components.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Groovy Script

  • Experience with MuleSoft, including API management, integration flows, and Mule ESB.

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including designing and querying databases.

  • Experience in integrating with Business applications including but not limited to Oracle, Salesforce, Workday.

  • Extensive experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and XML/JSON.

  • Understanding of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration capabilities.

  • Experience with messaging systems and protocols like SQS, JMS, or ActiveMQ.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and lead projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Boomi Developer Certification and/or Boomi Architect Certification.

  • Experience with other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $132,480 -$165,600. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
