This organization owns the data engineering, business intelligence engineering, and automation workstream. You will be working with the organization leadership to lead all the critical programs and projects that help AWS Infrastructure Services make data driven decisions and automate the planning process.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an innovative, intellectually curious, and results-oriented Senior TPM to drive critical programs in our organization.
The TPM will be in charge of handling all aspects of technical projects, including the following: Identification of technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements. Definition of a cross-functional project plan, high level and low level technical design, identification of projects risks to the plan and managing these to conclusion to unblock the data engineering, business intelligence, and automation teams.
Effectively communicate project status and suggest changes to use resources more efficiently. Propose solutions to technical constraints using their technical expertise and experience, as well as provide expertise for escalated quality problems, anticipate bottlenecks in the development cycle.
Define strategies, regularly participate in executive meetings to present their progress, and share project updates with customers and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
