At Alexa Shopping, we are pushing the boundaries of AI assisted shopping to help millions of customers worldwide save time and money. Alexa will help customers WW on their shopping journey by anticipating customer needs and suggesting timely shopping actions through seamless experiences across Echo devices, Fire TV, 3rd party devices, Amazon.com and the Amazon Mobile App. Alexa Shopping is seeking a seasoned product manager to be part of the team that will build and grow the next generation of online shopping.

As a PMT on the Alexa Shopping team, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for enhancing the conversational shopping experience for customers around the world. You will leverage the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing to reimagine how Alexa can better assist customers with their shopping needs, accounting for the unique considerations of different languages, regulations, and customer habits in various international markets. Working closely with cross-functional teams in product management, user experience design, engineering, and operations, you will define the roadmap and bring new experiences to life that make Alexa shopping even more delightful and helpful for millions of global customers. This is a highly visible, strategic role that requires partnering with senior leaders across the Alexa and Shopping businesses to deliver meaningful business impact. You should be an innovative problem-solver who thrives on tackling complex challenges and driving successful outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Define the product vision to advance Alexa as an AI assistant that helps customers save time and money

· Own the product roadmap

· Work closely with customer research, UX, marketing, legal, international partners, and your dedicated engineering team to deliver features in your space.

· Define and own business and feature metrics for customer engagement and operational reliability

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
