Design, develop and operate multi-cloud (Nutanix, Azure, AWS etc.) software services infrastructure that will enable Nutanix to deliver Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) offering to its customers. Gather requirements from various other teams to understand their requirements and asks to make sure the services build help us deliver highly available, reliable and secure cloud service infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-geographical engineering teams in coming up with best design that will help achieve efficiency at scale while building and running these Disaster Recovery offerings across different cloud substrates. Build state of the art API and full stack services to manage and operate Nutanix portfolio cloud services effectively. Some example services include observability, container runtime, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment frameworks. Mentor, guide and enable engineers in the team to grow into strong, high performance employees. Assist in building execution excellence and deliver team commitments through best practices for software engineering. Telecommuting arrangement available. Will supervise 3 Members of Technical Staff.  MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: Nine (9) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The position requires Knowledge of and/or experience with (can be gained through education and/or experience): • API service design and development; • High level programming and scripting language like Python, Go, .NET; • Dev Ops, CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous development) and automation; • Multi-cloud technology stacks (Azure, AWS, GCP); • Agile software development methodologies. *The skills, knowledge and/or experience listed here need not be maintained over the full term of experience noted above.
