Supervisor - New Shepard Welding operations This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Special Mentions Shifts available: A Shift (Mon-Thur 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Responsibilities: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Welding Team. Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld. Keep projects on tack to meet program milestones and delivery targets. Champion continued learning and growth to attract, develop, and retain phenomenal people. Conduct regular check-ins to ensure team member performance, fulfillment and growth. Responsible for prioritizing and establishing Work Center assignments, employee training, overtime assignments, and back-up for absent employees. Maintain all shop programs including Safety, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, FOD, Clean as you go programs. Author job descriptions, screen candidates, and conduct interviews. Make hiring recommendations. Develop and implement process, efficiency, and continuous safety improvements. Qualifications: 5 plus years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field. Welding background (Aluminum Ac/Dc, Steel) Leadership experience with dynamic team environments. Passion. This role requires a ton of energy and resilience. Bring it. Let's make history together. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Management, Business, etc.) or equivalent directly related years of professional experience. Proficiency in interpreting engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and coordination skills. Experience in integrating systems, pneumatics, fluids, electrical etc. Welding background Compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $42.62-$56.83 Other site ranges may differ
