The candidate is a subject matter expert who executes and defines the overall business development strategy across the corporate infrastructure services portfolio, with limited oversight. They have established pedigree in both technical infrastructure and aplpying that knowledge across a wide ranging customer base.
Being a dedicated self starter with strong relationship building skills (across both internal and external stakeholders) are essential to this role.
The ideal candidate will have proven communication skills and the ability to easily shift between macro and micro perspectives, balancing program, operational, and strategic responsibilities.
The data driven individual will be structured, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using a range of metrics and measures to drive actions. Knowing when to deeply inspect issues and when lighter touch oversight is needed.
They will be responsible for the management of globally impacting corporate infrastructure programs across the entire portfolio. Roadmap development and partner alignment are critical parts of the role, directly influencing our overall operational planning and owning several organizational goals.
They must be fluent in data analysis across a variety of mediums and sources, and are not frightened to invent new ways to challenge assumptions, articulating findings and proposals up to executive level as required.

· Set and drive regular cadence of communications to stakeholders, both internal and external for business, operational, and strategic reviews.

· Engage on special or strategic projects and initiatives. Driving cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions.
· Define and own high-impact frameworks, processes, and strategies that drive measurable results and set the organization up for long-term success.
· Communicate ideas and initiatives clearly with direct and indirect stakeholders, effectively advocating for opportunities up to the VP level.
· Partner and work with other business units to influence strategic directions across al existing and new business workstreams.
· Facilitate discussions on program direction, strategy, and conflicts.
· Identify, develop, and implement efficiency opportunities and best practices to drive operational excellence and efficiency.

Experience leading cross-functional groups, including influencing without authority, to debate tradeoffs, drive alignment, and make high-judgment decisions related to critical initiatives.
Deep leadership experience across a range of business landscapes. Possessing significant experience of core portfolio management areas, like budgeting and financial management, capacity planning and technical roadmap alignment. And being able to use those datapoints to drive targeted improvements in key business areas.
Experience of building and evangelizing end-to-end scalable processes in a multi skills environment, from defining the framework all the way to implementation
Possessive about innovation being a driver of operational excellence. Real world experience in identifying and remediating procedural waste.

The Corporate Infrastructure Services team (CIS) is part of the IT Services organization that supports all Amazonians at corporate offices. CIS designs, plan, builds, maintains and deprecates the infrastructure in all corporate offices worldwide. This includes running Amazon’s corporate campus & building infrastructure worldwide. Everything from deploying and maintaining the wired and wireless networking to Printers, to the Meeting Experience in our conference rooms. Where there’s technology at play in these buildings, CIS is responsible for the customer experience and measuring the end-to-end performance. Basic Qualifications
Masters degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of Technical business leadership and roadmap strategy development.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong background in infrastructure and technology development.
Experience delivering results as both hands on contributor and influential stakeholder.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, critical-thinking skills and ability to determine root cause.
The ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Able to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with root cause / problem analysis including the usage of data manipulation tools such as Quicksight and Tableau.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
