The role you’ll contribute:
Assists technologists and provides support for the imaging department.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Assists technologists in positioning patients for radiology procedures
· Follows radiation/magnetic field safety procedures and guidelines
· Assists with room turnover and restocking of supplies
· Informs patient of their destination. Communicates with Monitor techs and Nursing staff when transporting patients. Identifies patient whereabouts on patient transport logs.
· Communicates with requesting department of any delays and cancellations
· Demonstrates the knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to effectively treat and care for patients of all ages (neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics)
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
· High School Grad or Equiv 0 years experience
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
