Schneider Electric USA, Inc BMS/Security Construction Manager in Secaucus, New Jersey

What will you do?

The BMS/Security Construction Manager oversees on-site activities, drawing from 10 years of industry experience and at least 3 years in a non-managerial role. Their expertise spans advanced HVAC and Security knowledge, safety, commissioning processes, and best practices. Exceptional customer service and leadership skills are essential.

This role involves interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and when necessary, terminating operations personnel. The manager ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, tools utilization, and training/development.

Key responsibilities include completing and submitting required safety audits, coordinating yearly safety training, ensuring Local Law 196 compliance, and providing necessary tools and PPE to project personnel. Additionally, the role involves setting performance and development goals for direct reports, coaching and mentoring, assigning mentors, conducting performance reviews, establishing training plans, and holding regular team meetings and events.

The manager also participates in the OneVoice deep dive action planning committee and collaborates with the service leadership team to enhance team collaboration, effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.

This position demands a strong blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, and a focus on safety and employee development.

What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or other relevenat to business
Experience working on projects onsite with customers
