NBA Properties Inc. Digital Marketing Data Engineer in Secaucus, New Jersey
Oversee the Microsoft-centric on-premise business intelligence (BI) environment. Assist with the design of future data warehouses which includes cloud-based platforms. Analyze, design, code, tune and implement new BI solutions. Evaluate, maintain and enhance existing ETL processes and model/cube structures. Create BI dashboards and workbooks using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. Code data ingest solutions leveraging third party APIs. Triage bugs and tasks daily. Create documentation for applications and processes. Evaluate new data warehousing platforms and solutions. Telecommuting permitted.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or closely related field and five (5) years of experience as Data Engineer or a closely related role. Must have experience: managing large data sets from prominent digital marketing platforms (e.g., Adobe DTM, Google Analytics, and Amplitude); constructing and working with business intelligence tools and architectures; designing data warehouses, including calculated measures, hierarchies, slowly changing dimensions and date/time dimension analysis; and working with storage devices and connectivity tools such as Azure DataBricks, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, and Power BI/Tableau. Must have experience with the following technologies: Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS and SSMS (Management Studio), SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
