Job Summary:
The Analyst will provide financial forecasting, business planning, and general accounting support to the FP&A and Real Estate Analytics leadership while working in a high paced environment. This position will produce and provide financial analyses to internal clients and management.
The analyst will also support the real estate decision making process through in-depth financial analysis and investment recommendations, sales & expense forecasting, and real estate analytics, in partnership with various corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly models that assemble financial forecast for the stores and real estate, and sync that information with the financial planning system
Prepare month-end and quarter-end entries, financial reporting & GL analysis as needed
Extract and report KPI for Stores and Real Estate deals
Maintain supplier/partner database, plan for expenditures, and track payment history and metrics
Assist with the development of a LRP and in the annual Budget process
Support real estate specific or company strategic initiatives such as long rang plan, open-to-buy, and customer experience
Work with Real Estate Managers to create Deal sheets and lease analytics for management evaluations.
Provide spatial analysis and support RE analytics including demographics, sales distribution, trade area analysis, etc.
Partner with cross functional teams
Test and suggest new reports in response to current business issues and execute the necessary changes to implement
Complete special projects and analysis as needed
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, retail industry a plus
