Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Secaucus, New Jersey
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator based in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
• Accurately process and run weekly payroll data for various locations.
• Handle the input of payroll data, including garnishments, paid time off, and transit deductions.
• Set up employee tax definitions in the payroll system, ensuring accurate data entry and strong auditing abilities.
• Manage benefits payments, such as life insurance and AD& D.
• Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Have a working knowledge of Garnishments and be responsible for filing weekly and monthly union reports.
• Format and manage 401K, and FSA reports on a weekly basis.
• Input third-party sick pay information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with year-end payroll reporting and ensure knowledge of excel for efficient data management.
• Perform miscellaneous payroll tasks as required, with a focus on maintaining accurate records.
• Have a sound knowledge of NJ and NY payroll taxes and apply this knowledge in payroll processing.
Skills
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian
• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration
• Proficiency in Accounting and Benefit Functions
• Experience with Canadian Payroll
• Familiarity with ADP - Payroll.
