Sedron Technologies Electrical Technician in Sedro Woolley, Washington

Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Electrical Technician

Sedron Technologies designs and manufactures advanced water, and waste upcycling technologies that transform the paradigm of Waste Processing to Resource Recovery. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position: 

  • Assist with the design and drafting of electrical schematics and corresponding work packages
  • Assist in the assembly of industrial electrical control panels
  • Provide support during the commissioning of industrial machinery
  • Assist with the diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery
  • Assist in the assembly and commissioning of industrial process control systems
  • Provide technical support to field operations both remotely and while traveling onsite
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
  • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
  • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
  • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
  • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Maintain good organization skills
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation and Controls or related field; relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements
  • Familiarity with Electrical CAD and/or Eplan
  • Familiarity with machine and plant level power distribution and protection design, UL508a, and NEC
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • Willingness to travel to support site needs for a minimum of six weeks per year
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Wage range for this role is between $20.00-$45.00/hourly
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. 
  • The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
