Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end process of equipment procurement, ensuring specifications align with project and operational requirements.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
Act as the primary point of contact for coordination among cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and EH&S, to support smooth project execution.
Identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to equipment installation and integration, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and risk assessments.
Compile all relevant documentation for First Article Inspection (FAI) review.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage equipment delivery schedules, performance, and compliance with contract terms.
Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Foster effective communication across all levels of the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.
Provide technical support and guidance during project planning, execution, and post-commissioning phases.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes and outcomes
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning, preferably within an aviation MRO or industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of safety and quality management principles relevant to equipment installation and commissioning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
