Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Lead Maintenance Technician 13275 in Senatobia, Mississippi

This is a job for Lead Maintenance Technician position with the company located in Senatobia, MS area.

Job summary: The Maintenance Lead is responsible for performing repairs on all machinery and equipment throughout the plant and is also accountable for minor administrative functions including assigning work orders and work order time recording. Expected hours of work 40 hours a week with a varied shift schedule 8-10 hours shift with occasional overtime and weekend hours. No travel required.

Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair equipment- evaluate equipment operation and perform necessary action when malfunction occurs, or improvements are needed. Performs preventive maintenance activities as dictated by work schedule. Administration-distribute work orders, process/ summarize work order data, initiate purchase requisitions, utilize equipment and process documentation. Keep MDI Board current and up to date. Comply and participate regulatory, Carlisle, And departmental policies, procedures, and standards (PSM, safety protocols, COS). Provide training to Maintenance technicians I & II & III as needed. Articulate to vendors/engineer's machine issue to resolve technical issues. Handle and audit preventative maintenance procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education -- High School diploma or GED required. Five (5) years minimum maintenance experience as a hands-on craftsman in an industrial/manufacturing environment associated with engineering or maintenance activity. Understanding of basic mechanical & electrical principles as they apply to plant/process specific equipment (hydraulic and pneumatic systems also) along with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information. Prior leadership experience with a team of no less than four (4) employees. Some knowledge and experience in using a forklift and scissor lift. Experience with computers including Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
