Stryker Associate Supply & Customs Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Import/Export Logistics Operations
Shipment tracking and delivery (from shipping invoice to goods receipt in warehouse)
Goods receipt, GIT management, and monthly closing
Daily clearance & goods receipt report
ASN data management
Payment to service providers
Managing shipping discrepancy and claims
Export handling (booking, Preparation of export documents, tracking to final destination etc.)
Customs handling
Perform customs clearance (+KMDIA approval) in compliant to all customs regulation
Coordinate HS code classification
Respond to all customs inquiries & requirements with professional accuracy.
Look for duty saving opportunities in compliance.
Document retention management (controlling and checking the document archive process)
TP correction if applicable
PO & Supply monitoring / follow-up
Monitor supply status against PO and follow up any issue, delay, discrepancies.
Maintain open PO, GIT data accuracy and provide supply visibility to stakeholders throughout the processes
Communicate, alert supply issues with stakeholders, including Commercial, Customer Service, etc.
Trade compliance
Post entry audits, manage and report on the process
Lead internal customs compliance audits and take it as an opportunity to improve customs compliance
Lead all activities to improve Korea Trade compliance level. (including AEO and other professional activities. )
Service provider management
Monitor service providers’ performances with good KPIs, and lead / support all improvement initiatives. (forwarder, courier, bonded warehouse, customs broker, etc.)
Evaluate service providers against market players, and lead /support vendor selection & implementation processes
Drive all initiatives to improve service provider quality, and cost optimization
Project / Process management
Continuously seek for improvement area and define and lead actions for optimization
Manage process documentation in the scope
