ABOUT SAP HANA
SAP HANA is SAPs ground-breaking in-memory database platform. It provides a powerful foundation for existing SAP products as well as for new applications on device, in the cloud and on premise.
SAP HANAs cutting-edge technology for main memory, multi-core processing, and data management enables real-time analysis in combination with online transactional processing of business data.
We want to strengthen SAP HANAs position as a first-class cloud citizen, as the cloud and Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) are gaining in importance.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced cloud service developer to join our team of highly talented cloud database developers. The person will be responsible for developing resilient and highly available cloud services and designing the new (micro-)services from the perspective of end-users. He/she also understands quality requirements, corporate standards, and key performance indicators to be established as parts of cloud service development process. He/she develops own tests or utilize existing quality assurance solutions to ensure the service reliability automatically. He/she communicates with other service development teams and understand the architectural dependencies and behaviors and considerations for robustness and resiliency at own services.He/she needs to work closely within local cross teams as well as global teams to ensure deliverables from end to end perspectives.
We expect the person has
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Gerrit, Jira
Experience in cloud platforms, cloud technologies, and cloud service development and operations
Experience in one or more of the following: Python, Go, Java, C , Groovy, Perl, and so on
Very good communication and presentation skills in both Korean and English
Strong team player with accountability and integrity
Strong analytical skills, ability to structure complex problems, and to do conceptual work
Advanced Linux administration skills
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field
High proficiency in spoken and written English
