Engineering Technologist - 1973
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Job Functions: * Rate Capacity Limiter (RCL) performance and calibration RCL test plan * Support both the RCL prototype and production processes
Job Requirements: * Technical Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience or a High School diploma with a minimum of 9 years' experience required. Candidates with mechanical or electrical engineering degree will be strongly considered. * Must be able to climb ladder 6 to 12 feet to access crane cabin and components on the boom. * Must be able to work outside in all climates approximately 20% of the time. * Must be able to understand and apply basic mechanical and hydraulic principles. * Must be able to determine the weight, center of gravity and bending properties of beam type structures. * Basic understanding of load capacity charts, hydraulic systems and basic electrical circuits preferred. * Must have excellent Excel skills and a working knowledge of MS Office Suite. * Must be able to communicate with professional and manufacturing employees in an office and manufacturing environment. * Desired experience with: * Basic CAD experience, Creo/ProE (for evaluation, not design) * Basic CAD layout work using AutoCAD or Creo/Pro * Baan ERP system * Exposure to an object oriented programing language such as C++ * Exposure to an IDE such as Code::Blocks * Exposure to version control systems such as SVN and Git

Pay Grade: 205 * Minimum: $60,058.96 * Midpoint: $76,575.20 * Maximum: $93,092.48
