The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the production line and managing a team of operators. This role is accountable for ensuring high machine performance and efficiency, organizing work assignments, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The Team Leader is also expected to provide high-quality support for projects, ad hoc tasks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
How you will contribute
You will:
Operate machinery and supervise safety, quality, output, and waste to ensure targets are met and regulatory compliance is maintained.
Fully oversee line operations, including processes, documentation, 5S practices, parameter settings, tools, and data (SQDCM) recording and reporting.
Arrange manpower efficiently and manage the SGA group as needed.
Ensure material availability per the production plan, optimize inventory control (e.g., timely return of excess materials to the warehouse, stock counts), and maintain accurate production records in compliance with Quality SOPs.
Adhere to HACCP plans and ISO 22000 requirements by monitoring, recording, and verifying all Critical Control Points (CCPs) and promptly addressing any noncompliance.
Conduct end-of-shift transfers, implement cleaning and sanitation protocols effectively, and ensure compliance with procedures.
Accurately input data into the SAP system and control raw and packaging material consumption to support cost-effective production.
Minimize raw material and packaging material waste and promptly address discrepancies or excessive waste figures in the system.
Prepare and submit daily DMS reports for DMS meetings and weekly GE meeting updates.Support IL6S integration across the plant by monitoring and achieving SQDCM targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Savings, and Morale.

Education / Certifications:
- Diploma in Engineering or any related field.
Job specific requirements:
Experienced in food manufacturing; knowledge on food processing, GMP, HACCP, ISO .
Experienced in SAP system
Good people management and business acumen as the role is required to lead the line teams.
Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail
Able to work in shift basis
