Park Nicollet Health Services Materials Services Coordinator, Methodist Hospital in Shakopee, Minnesota

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Materials Services Coordinator to join our surgical materials team! Position Summary: The Materials Services Coordinator Coordinates and manages the materials and implant inventory and distribution process for the department. Responsible for lending and borrowing of supplies, equipment, and patient charge information. Responsible for timely and accurate day to day management of materials within the department to include: owned and consigned supplies, inventory management, routine and emergency supply requisitions and orders. The Materials coordinator reports to and works collaboratively with and at the direction of the Department Manager. Internal: Surgical Services leaders and staff, surgeons, materials services and purchasing staff. External: Vendors, colleagues at other hospitals. Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE (Full-time) Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Preferred Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: High School Degree or equivalent is preferred. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Two years' experience in inventory management Medical/Surgical Terminology Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment Computer/printer/hand-held order entry/bar code equipment Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, and DOS based programs) Picis, Lawson.
