Danaher Corporation Assistant FP&A Manager in Shanghai, China

This position is expected to play a financial controlling and analysis role through a focus on drivers of profitable business growth, including, but not limited to topline forecast and analysis, margin analysis, reporting package preparation, and other ad-hoc financial analysis

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly forecast, financial reporting package, and monthly business review package, provide in-depth variance analysis;

  • Streamline and optimize financial forecast and reporting process;

  • Understand business growth drivers and develop deep-dive analysis of various business data, including sales funnel, installation, channel sell thru and inventory;

  • Develop forward-looking capability to enhance forecast accuracy of business trends;

  • Provide analytical and decision support to finance and operation management team by developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial analysis and reporting;

  • Actively involved in the preparation of company annual budget and develop company growth bridge;

  • Keep track on sales/order trend by weekly sales flash;

  • Actively communicate with Corporate central planning team and collect/provide the required information;

  • Closely work with accounting team to reconcile the actual to forecast and provide variance explanation, actively involved in BS review;

  • Support Finance management team executing variable projects to achieve CPI (Continuous Process Improvement);

  • Support supply and PSI process.
