Are you ready to enter the role as one of our key creative drivers in the development of LEGO campaigns and social contents aimed at Chinese children and adults? This is your chance to bring to life the essence of the LEGO brand in China. Ensuring that the LEGO DNA is present in everything we say will be one of your most important tasks.

Our LEGO Agency (OLA) is the in-house agency function in the organization that performs as lead agency for the LEGO Group and focuses on delivering best-in-class campaigns, insightful & fit-for-purpose solutions across the LEGO Group. The global development is driven out of The LEGO Group HQ in Billund, Denmark. Location-wise, OLA has four additional, local /regional hubs, based in four main regions – AMS, EMEA, China & APAC.

Our LEGO Agency Asia, serves the Asian markets, covering both China and APAC markets. OLA Asia is focused on developing campaigns for the whole Asian region (with special focus on China) including regional occasion campaigns, amplifying global campaigns to fit the Asian region and localization of campaigns. Covering full value chain from campaign strategy to final in-store solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Take part in the early stages of strategy and concept development and oversee the creative work end-2-end

  • Ability to inspire and push the creative teams to deliver world class communication

  • Strong insight in communication trends in the Chinese Market and secure being updated on new trends/Medias

  • Partake in developing creative briefs based on business briefs received from marketing colleagues.

  • Keeping updated on Global Campaign Strategy/Concept on key franchise priorities in China.

  • Drive social content creation and amplify in different channels

Do you have what it takes?

  • Educational background in Fine Arts or similar, or the School of Life in an Advertising Agency is preferred

  • Background could be from concept development, visual art direction– at least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience with an integrated portfolio.

  • Ability to inspire creative teams and key stakeholders

  • Strong ability to work with external partners e.g. other advertising agencies, media agency, TV/Animation companies.

  • Traveling between offices in Singapore and Shanghai will occur – and readiness to take part in on-line meetings as well

  • Solid presentation skills, strong in PowerPoint or similar presentation programs and the Adobe Suite

  • Advanced both Mandarin and English language
