Job Description

60% Pro-active Sourcing, Talent Mapping & Pipeline Building

  • Partner with BHR and TMTD to identify Succession Gaps and where to focus efforts for external pipelining and proactive outreach.

  • Build talent pipelines together with providing knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry across the affiliate.

  • Act as an advisor, using market analysis and industry research to inform sourcing strategies that enable future capability building, and influence stakeholders to act proactively regarding their current/future talent mix and talent market availability.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in competitor insights, industry overviews, best practices, talent trends and other competitive intelligence that will impact the search.

30% Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand Promotion

  • Become an expert in AbbVie culture to understand what makes us special and in our growth goals.

  • Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns to build long-term relationships and brand recognition within key talent populations.

  • Create awareness and traffic on relevant social media channels, such as WeChat & LinkedIn.

  • Plan and manage recruitment media campaigns and execute the content strategies that will engage and attract our various talent personas.

  • Define measurements for success and assess the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns.

10% HR and TA Program

  • Provide support to the HR project in internal communication, culture and employee engagement at the affiliate level, working as one HR team.

  • Other TA project assigned by China TA Head.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years professional recruitment, contingent and/or retained search and recruitment marketing experience along with the ability to lead and influence others.

  • Must have experience working in a complex and matrixed global organization.

  • Creative and innovative thinker

  • Confident, mature, resourceful with a pleasant personality and willingness to learn

  • Demonstrates a consistent track record of delivering results, often in the face of challenges or obstacles.

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
