= Objective =

We are in search of a highly experienced and strategic Global Process Owner (GPO) for the EHS & Sustainability process areas, to lead and optimize related end-to-end processes globally and across all AP Business Segments (Crop Protection, Field Crop Seeds, Vegetable Seeds, Digital Farming) within our dedicated Process Excellence Team (PET). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in EHS or Sustainability, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication, and process optimization skills. As a GPO, you will play a pivotal role in creating global consistency as well as improving efficiency and the customer experience. You will lead a community of global, regional and country Business Experts to design the best possible environment for numerous stakeholders across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to modernize and revolutionize the way the Agricultural Solutions division uses EHS & Sustainability to strengthen customer orientation.

= Key Responsibilities =

• Process Ownership: Assume full ownership of the EHS & Sustainability process areas. Oversee all process related activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for process-related inquiries.

• Global Standardization: Collaborate with global, regional and local teams and stakeholders to establish and enforce global standard operating procedures and best practices for the process areas. Ensure consistent data processing methods, tools and standards across various entities and regions.

• Process Optimization: Continuously assess areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation opportunities. Lead process redesign initiatives to enhance customer as well as internal & external business partner experience, reduce cycle times, and minimize errors.

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that EHS & Sustainability activities are closely aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, regulatory and market dynamics. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and communicate process strategies, KPIs, and success metrics.

• Risk Management: Implement robust internal controls to mitigate process related risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies within the related processes, including risk assessment and mitigation measures.

• Technology Integration: Partner with IT teams to leverage technology solutions, such as data foundation platforms, BI tools and platforms, and interfaces to external systems, to streamline and enhance the process areas. Drive digital transformation initiatives to meet evolving internal and external business partner expectations.

• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and efficiency of the related processes. Regularly report progress and insights to senior management and stakeholders.

• Change Management: Lead change management efforts associated with process improvements and system implementations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Process Excellence Community (PEC).

• Talent Development: Mentor and guide a team of global process experts within the Process Excellence Community. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skill sets and capabilities.

• Main interface to GB and GD Process Owner community: Be the main contact person for all the existing process owners of GB and GD to ensure that AP specific process requirements and needs are fulfilled.

= Job Requirements =

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration; Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.

• Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in either EHS or Sustainability.

Knowledge/Skills

• Process Excellence: Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and optimizing financial processes for global organizations.

• Leadership: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and detail-oriented approach to decision-making.

• Change Agent: Demonstrated experience in driving change management efforts and managing stakeholders at various organizational levels.

• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with business intelligence and data management systems and platforms. Ability to harness technology for process enhancements.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Global Mindset: Ability to see the “big picture” from the global perspective yet also manage and local requirements and cultural nuances.

• Customer-Centric: A strong commitment to enhancing the customer and business partner experience throughout the process areas.
