Amazon Head of Marketing, Paid Service & Seller Education in Shanghai, China

The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Amazon is aggressively expanding its Paid Service strategy worldwide, and we are seeking a highly strategic and dynamic Marketing Head to set up and lead a marketing team of six marketing managers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in overseeing branding, marketing communications, and demand generation initiatives. As Marketing Head, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy for our multiple Paid Service products (& Seller Education programs), ensuring alignment with our overall business goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy that encompasses branding, marketing communications, and demand generation to support CN Global Selling’s Paid Service products (& Seller Education programs).

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six marketing managers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven environment.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, account management, and product management, to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all channels.

• Oversee the creation and execution of compelling marketing campaigns that effectively reach target audiences and achieve various objectives.

• Monitor and analyze market trends, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts.

• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to drive maximum impact and ROI.

• Leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust strategies as needed.

• Represent the marketing team in executive meetings, providing updates on marketing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and large-scale marketing campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing communications, and demand generation strategies in a B2B or B2C environment.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively to a variety of audiences.

  • Experience managing budgets and maximizing the ROI of marketing investments.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data to inform marketing decisions.

  • Familiarity with the latest marketing tools, technologies, and best practices.
