Product Marketing & Business Development Manager is asked to drive the conversion of customer leads and projects to sales by bringing vital advice and knowledge on benefits, dosing, blends and claims into the selling process across all segments.

Your key responsibilities
Key areas of accountability/responsibility
Overall strategy and business steering (for specific product)
Translate the global Strategic Product Plan at regional level into customer specific actions – provide regional input into global plan
Provide market and technical input into overall Business Strategy development and Marketing Communication plans and execution
Monitor the regional execution of the Strategic Product Plan and regional market shares and take corrective actions to achieve the results
Product Marketing & Innovation (for specific product)
Tailor product value proposition to regional specifics where needed and provide training to marketing and sales team
Share and leverage product related best practices, measures and campaigns for the region
Provide input for product portfolio improvement based on regional needs and opportunities
Provide voice of the customer input into the R&D and Biology roadmaps
Business Development (for specific product)
Identify market opportunities and work with regional sales teams commercial to drive execution
Ensure building up of technical expertise to support sales in wining projects – leverage global experts where needed
Own regional project pipeline and manage portfolio of projects – support sales in driving large opportunities and follow-up to ensure project implementation

You bring
5+ proven experience in B-to-B or B-to-C markets within the Food/Health Science industry
Have demonstrated successful achievements with career progression
Proven ability to work with science-based product concepts and bring them to market
Bachelor or Master’s degree in scientific field with an natural interest in Marketing&Sales
Results driven and comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for performance
Diversified industry experience and expertise coming from working in a region, a different part of the value chain, and/or from B-to-B or B-to-C roles
Strong communicator, both written and oral, to effectively represent DSM internally and externally
